1966 Mustang Coupe RestorationThis vehicle arrived on a trailer as a bare tub with no axles. The care was stripped to bare metal, quarter panels and lower trunk panels were replaced, floors and rear sub-frame were repaired, the cowl was removed and a new inner cowl trough was installed, primed, base coated, etc before the repaired cowl top was reinstalled. The core support area around the battery was repaired and new doors and fenders were used. This car was then painted by the piece with the body being done on a rotisserie. This car was painted to the owner’s taste with base and clear coats inside and outside the vehicle. The inner roof above the headliner was as nice as the outer roof of the car. After wetsanding and buffing the outside of the car, the axles were installed and the body was reassembled and adjusted. Click on an image to enlarge it |
